Hey, it’s me, celebrating 353 days of being alcohol-free! Thanks for joining in on my journey. But today, I’m doing something different—I’m giving you my take on a TV show, Doctor Who. Now, there’s a split in the series, leading to Gatwa’s 15th Doctor. Personally, I’m not sold on the split, but hey, it’s sci-fi, right? I’ve been a fan since the ’80s, through all the ups and downs. Fast forward to the Disney-funded revival, and we’ve got bigger budgets and flashy effects, but also a “Disneyf*ckation” of the show. Gatwa and Gibson bring something new, but the writing in recent episodes—like “Space Babies”—is just disappointing. Even my wife, a fellow Whovian, agrees.
